Overview

This article explains 401 errors received periodically after an hour after login.

 The authentication token/session seems to expire in Jive after an hour.

If the user logs back in, the authentication appears to be refreshed and they are able to access the content again without any errors. However, the issue reverts in an hour.

This article provides a fix for this issue.

Change the system property auth.lifetime to set to expire in 24 hours.

Note: The initial value of the system property auth.lifetime is set to expire in 60 minutes.
