Overview

You are using Office365 for Email. You want to set up an integration between Office365 and Jive Email so that any replies to content in Jive go to the email inboxes of users. You want to configure the SMTP server in Jive with Office365 SMTP.

You can follow the official documentation for setting up SMTP servers in Jive. Note: Jive Cloud customers cannot set up SMTP themselves and have to contact us for this.

• Email server settings do not have the option to configure automatic email notifications when people reply to documents.
• ​There isn't a specific setting that we can enable to set automatic email notifications when people reply to documents.
• However, as a workaround, the outlook online cartridge for Jive Anywhere lets your community members engage fully with the community without ever leaving the Outlook Online inbox. The Outlook Web App Cartridge Installation article provides the steps to follow to fulfill this task.
