Overview

You created a sub-space within an existing space. Users following the space got an email notification about the new space being created.

• You, the user who created the space, did not get an email notification.
• You want to know if this notification can be disabled.

Information

This is functioning as designed. The ability to disable this specific notification has previously been submitted to the Product team as an Enhancement Request and may be included in a future release of Jive.

As a workaround, you can always follow one of the articles below to tune email notification settings:

• Configure email notification preferences for users. Users can choose not to follow specific groups or receive inbox/stream notifications via email.
• Globally Disable Email Notifications. This way users will not receive any email notifications.
