Exceeding Character Limit for Carousel Tile File Names Does Not Throw Error in IE (Hosted)

Overview

Expected Behaviour

  • File names with more than 127 characters should not be allowed in carousel tiles:
    • When a file with a name longer than 127 characters is uploaded, an error should appear stating that "An error occurred performing this operation".

Actual Behaviour

  • This does not happen when the IE 11 browser is used:
    • Instead, nothing happens when the "Add Slide" button is clicked and no error appears.

Information

This behavior (bug id JVHOPST-323) was fixed on the Jive Hosted On-Premise 9.0.6 version.
