Overview

The New Stream pane does not update after adding new people, places, and tags to follow. The Add button turns into In Stream when clicked to confirm that the item has been added. However, the content is not being added to the New Stream pane on the right.

This article intends to provide awareness that this behavior has been identified as a product defect on Jive Hosted version 9.0.2.

The expected behavior is that the object added should be displayed in the News Stream pane on the right side of the page:

In this case, the Add button turns into In Stream but the objects are not added to the new stream pane. The count of people, places, or tags also do not update. In this example, they still appear as 0:

This New Stream issue in Jive Hosted version 9.0.2 has been resolved in 9.0.4.

If you are working with a hosted customer who is seeing this behavior and you confirmed that they are currently on version 9.0.2, advise the customer to upgrade to version 9.0.4 to resolve this issue.
