Overview

When a Document or Blog Post is created with a special character such ä in the title, the special character is displayed incorrectly as an HTML symbol/character code such as ä instead of ä in the News Streams.

Solution

This issue was identified as a bug and resolved in Jive Cloud release 3006.8 with the issue key JVCLD-150649 (release notes on Worx). While the Cloud upgrades are automatically deployed, if you haven't yet been upgraded or have chosen to stay on an earlier version and now would like to upgrade, please get in touch with your Account Manager/Executive to arrange for the upgrade.

Testing

After the upgrade, the News Streams should correctly display the titles for Documents and Blog Posts with special characters in the title.
