Overview

The document converter has a default timeout value while converting the uploaded documents. This value is controlled by a system property and can be customized for your environment.

Default timeout values

Hosted/On-premise: 12000 milliseconds

Cloud: 18000 milliseconds

Changing the timeout values

Please note that increasing the default timeout values may impact the system performance negatively.

For Hosted/On-premise instances, set the system property officeintegration.conversion.step.timeout.default to the desired value (in milliseconds) to change the timeout value. Please refer to the System properties reference documentation on how to perform this change.
