Overview

When upgrading Jive On-Premise to version 9.0.7 behind a private network with no access to the internet. the process fails and triggers the following null pointer exception:

Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException 
    at java.util.Hashtable.put(Hashtable.java:460) 
    at org.apache.log4j.MDC.put0(MDC.java:150) 
    at org.apache.log4j.MDC.put(MDC.java:85)

Steps to reproduce

1. Try upgrading to version 9.0.7
2. The system fails to upgrade.
3. The above null pointer exception appears

Process

This is a known issue and has been corrected in version 9.0.8, upgrading to this version or a later  version will solve the problem.
