Overview

When you try to publish a content item such as a document or blog post using the Ghost Publishing/Delegate Access functionality, you get an error message.

Error messages can include "Publishing Failed: An unforeseen error has occurred while posting this content":

Note that Ghost Publishing is enabled through the use of the Ghost Publish Addon developed by Jive Professional Services.

This issue may be occurring due to your community having the Delegate Access Addon installed, which was also developed by Jive Professional Services. The Delegate Access Addon has been replaced by the Ghost Publish Addon.
