A Published Blog Post's Creation Date is Wrong or Was Changed After Being Published

Overview

A blog post in your community is displaying that it was created at a later date than it actually was. For example, a blog post is showing that it was created on December 12, 2020, but there are comments from the post from November 2020 and you know it was published before December 12.

This article describes a possible cause of this issue.

Information

This issue can occur when a blog post was saved as a draft after it was initially published. When a published blog post is saved as a draft, then published again at a later date, this blog post will appear as being created on the date when it was re-published.

Please check with the author of the blog post to confirm whether or not they had saved it as a draft after publishing it. If not, please contact us

The issue of a blog post's creation date being changed after it was published then saved as a draft was identified as a defect, and is currently in the process of being resolved by the Jive Engineering Team.
