Overview

A Content item such as a Document that is marked with any Outcome tag such as Reserved, Outdated, or Official is not returned when performing a search in a Place. However, the Content item shows up in the global search. Editing the Content item also removes the Outcome tag (except in the case of Outcome tag Action Item) and the Content item starts appearing in Place-specific searches again.

Solution

This issue was identified as a bug and resolved in Jive Cloud release 3006.8 with the issue key JVCLD-113388 (release notes on Worx). While the Cloud upgrades are automatically deployed, if you haven't yet been upgraded or have chosen to stay on an earlier version and now would like to upgrade, please get in touch with your Account Manager/Executive to arrange for the upgrade.

Testing

After upgrading, the Content Item with Outcome tags should not be missing from the Place-specific searches as expected.
