Overview

When restoring a document to an earlier version, the document is placed in a Published state even though it is in a Draft state and should not be changed.

Environment

Jive Hosted 9.0.4 / 9.0.5 / 9.0.6

Reproduction Steps

1. Create a document with the title: Document 1 and save as Draft.
2. Edit the Document and save it (as a draft) as Document 2.
3. Edit the Document and save it (as a draft) as Document 3.
4. Edit the Document and save it (as a draft) as Document 4.
5. Edit the Document and save it (as a draft) as Document 3.
6. We see that version 5 and version 3 are same and identical.
7. Click on manage version. All five versions displayed.
8. Click on restore of version 3. Version 3 is published and the remaining draft versions are no longer displayed.

Root Cause

Software defect: JVHOPST-2840

Resolution

This is fixed in Jive 9.0.7.
