Overview

The customer contacted the support and wants to know the Jive for Outlook version information installed on their computer. They also wanted to know the process to update it from within the Outlook Application.

This article provides the steps to find the version information and process to update it from the Outlook Application.

AWS Cloud, Hosted and On-Premise.

Process

To find the version information and update the Jive for Outlook, follow the steps below: 

1. Open Outlook. Click Help as highlighted in the image below with the number "1".
2. Click About, and it will show the version information.
3. If the customer finds that Jive for Outlook is not the recent version, then click Update Jive for Outlook as highlighted with the number 3.
4. Click Restart Outlook, and it will install the update by itself.
